Neem Oil Properties

According to Ayurveda and some modern scientific sources Neem Oil could offer the following healing properties:

Well Being& Health

External use:

Pure Neem Oil application has rarely reported skin irritation. If you have a dry or sensitive skin or for a daily care then you should dilute the neem oil (keep 2 to 30%) for an example with other oil(s) such as Coconut, olive or Sesame.
Rub on the skin of the sick directly or diluted.

Internal use:
Internal intake of neem Oil should be done only after a physician consultation.
Short-term oral use may be suggestible, but long-term use of neem oil internally is not advisable.

Dilute with coconut Oil (30%/70%).
Gargle for a couple of minutes and spit.
Or apply one drop directly to the teeth or gums and brush.

House cleaning

Add to carpet shampoos and spray mattresses to kill dust mites, bacteria and parasites.


Neem oil is now generally recognized as safe (GRAS) by the United States Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and EPA (US Environmental Protection Agency).
Neem oil is biodegradable so that the treatment on cultures will let no traces in the environment.

Add an emulsifying agent or an Eco-friendly detergent and dilute with water while mixing.
